Mothers Day 2026

To all my families who face their first Mother's Day without their mum , and to those whose mum they still miss.

Whether it be the first or tenth,

The thoughts don't go away.

Today you miss them even more

As today is Mother's Day.

Their gentle hand,

Their voice, their touch.

You still miss them,

So very, very much.

Just for one more kiss,

A hug or even their smiles.

You'd walk up to heaven,

Regardless of the miles.

Don't be downhearted

I know, It's a hard thing to do.

But think of them watching over,

And somehow, you'll get through.

A Mother's love is forever,

Whether they are near or apart.

The bond given to you by a mother

Is stored safely within your heart.

Their love for you doesn't fade,

And yours for them won't go away.

Smile as they hold your hand silent

As you miss them, this Mother's Day
